Avocado Oil

Avocado Oil is famous for its healing, anti-bacterial, and hydrating benefits to the skin. The oil is rich in Vitamin E, essential fatty acids, and a powerful antioxidant. It’s penetration capabilities make it an excellent carrier of other ingredients into the skin. As a cleanser, the emollient oil picks up dirt and grime as it moves across the skin. The Avocado plant has a 2500-year-old history in South America. Since the early 17th century, the name was in British botany books. From there, the rich fruit became popular in the western world. The plant can grow up to 80 feet and takes between 4 and six years to bear fruits — enzymes in the fruit help to prevent the fruit from falling off the tree.

Avocado Oil contains various beneficial vitamins as well as minerals and healthy fats. The high amount of oleic acid in the oil moisturises and hydrates the skin deeply. The antioxidants vitamin A, C, and E help to eliminate free radicals and can restore skin cell damage. Furthermore, they can support the synthesis of collagen and elastin fibres. Moreover, the oil gives elasticity to the skin and smooths out fine lines and wrinkles. Fatty alcohols in Avocado Oil can reduce damage caused by UV rays. They enhance the repair of skin DNA and reduce skin inflammation. These extracts help to heal wounds too and support quicker new skin cell growth.
