What is a serum?

Serums are lightweight active gels that contain active ingredients to repair particular issues you are having with your skin. As they are light in weight, they are absorbed deep into the skin, carrying the active ingredients with it.

Why should I use a serum?

They are designed to give targeted repair to particular issues you are having with your skin such as acne, blemishes, pigmentation, smoothing fine lines and hydration.

What’s in a serum?

It contains a high concentration of active ingredients compared to regular moisturisers. These can often comprise up to 70% or more of the formulation of the product. At Belinda Hughes, we strive to find the best products that only contain natural active plant-based antioxidants.

How often should I use a serum?

It should be used once or twice per day under your moisturiser to get the best results. Each product will have its directions, so be sure to read the label before use.
